Went to an awesome crop yesterday....(Saturday)...about 40 miles from my house but well worth
the drive!!  The hostess, Charlotte, was great.  She gave us a kit and then a class for a double page layout and it was gorgeous!!  A very yummy meal for lunch..contributed by all the super nice ladies...I even made a cherry pineapple chocolate nut dump cake with Cool Whip for the topping!!  An easy thing for someone who doesn't cook!!!  There was even a parting gift of choice as we left!!  Wow!!  It was the best crop I've ever been to.  I finished working on my Pocket Letters for this week....one with a butterfly theme and one with a cat theme.  So much fun....definitely going back next month...

These are Pocket Letters #3 and #4...front and back...if you still haven't tried them...you should!!

I tried to put these up in pairs but just couldn't figure out how...so I just had to do it in line....oh well..

My Second Pocket Letter

Whew!!  I thought I forgot to take a picture of my second pocket letter but when I checked the card on my camera...(somehow it just occurred to me to look on my camera...duh!!) and there it was....I didn't forget!!  However, I seemed to have forgotten to take a picture of the back side!!  Don't know how that happened!!  Anyway...the theme of this one was "My Favorite Color"  and since I couldn't choose just one I used all four of them then added "a few of my favorite things" as embellishments.  I loved the way it turned out and really didn't want to send it but that was the deal so I had to.  If you haven't tried to do pocket letters...let me suggest that you try just one....they're so much fun to do...it has really helped me in getting my "mojo" back for paper crafting and swapping.  It's been 2 1/2 years since I've had any desire to do anything with all the stuff I've got...now I'm getting excited again and loving doing new things!!  Hope you can tell what I did on the pocket letter.....

Hi folks!!  It's been a long time since I've even looked at my blog...much less posted anything.  I was in a bad wreck and then had to have a stent put in my heart so I just wasn't up to scrapping for a long time.  But things are looking up and I feel like I'm getting my "mojo" back...I'm working on a few projects for the fair in September and I am doing 3 swaps this month!  I was looking for a swap to join on Swap-Bot and came across one for pocket letters.  I had never heard of pocket letters so I looked up some tutorials and they looked like fun so I made one right then.  I really enjoyed doing it and I think I'll be doing some more of them.   I am posting pictures of my first attempt at one...it was kinda like doing 9 ATCs and I love doing them.

I did mine front and back....some I looked at were just done on one side.....If you haven't done one...you should try it...they're lots of fun to put together!

Also....when I looked at my comments...I found that I had won two prizes that I didn't know about!!  I'm so sorry that I missed them but I was so out of things back then...I just wasn't up to doing anything concerning scrapping....but now...hopefully that is changing.  Sometimes it just takes a while to get over the traumatic things in your life....but God is Faithful and is always there to help you get through them.

While I'm on here...I'm going to post some pictures of the ribbons that I won at the fair.  It was on the way home from the fair that I was in the wreck...don't know if it was worth 6 blue ribbons to go through that!

Well...that's all I'm going to post for now...I pray God's best for all you sweet scrappers  and Happy Scrapping!!!!
